The Kennel Club Annual Report 2006/07
Show Regulation changes

It has been agreed that societies may have two closing dates for entries to their shows; one for paper entries and another for online entries. The online entry closing date must conform with the present regulations and be no less than 14 days before the show. It was agreed that the class qualification date for shows with two closing dates would be the date calculated to the postmark (paper) closing date.

Other regulation changes include permitting Single Breed Championship Shows with two judges to appoint either a Best in Show Judge or a Referee, allowing flexibility over the provision of wet weather accommodation, allowing puppies over 4 months of age to enter single breed and sub-group shows as ‘Not for Competition’, and allowing stewards to complete the judging book at shows providing that the judge completes the first column and checks and signs the book.
