Greyhounds head for Jersey
A GREYHOUND charity on the island of Jersey is getting ready for the arrival of three badly treated greyhounds which were due to arrive today.
The Charity, Greyhound Rescue, takes in the dogs that are dumped after their career in racing comes to an end. The centre in St Brelade is constantly raising funds to pay for the animals' treatment and upkeep.
Gail Hickmott from the sanctuary said the vets bills are going to be high as two of the dogs are in such a bad way.
