The Corgi and the Queen - a statue made entirely from Kenwood parts

ON TUESDAY 20th November, Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh celebrated 60 years of marriage. To honour this occasion, Kenwood commissioned renowned sculptor Ptolemy Elrington to create an eight-foot statue of the Queen made entirely from old Kenwood parts.

But – and you really couldn’t make this up – in a portentous and unscripted moment, a Corgi belonging to a passer-by stopped by the statue and looked up deferentially.
After all, Her Majesty is a renowned Corgi lover!
