Duchess of Cornwall to be Patron of KC Charitable Trust

The Kennel Club Charitable Trust is delighted to announce that HRH The Duchess of Cornwall (left) has accepted an invitation to become the first ever Patron of the Kennel Club Charitable Trust.

Her Royal Highness is a keen dog lover and currently owns three Jack Russells called Freddie, Tosca and Rosie.

The Kennel Club Charitable Trust is marking its 20th anniversary this year, and the past twelve months have been the busiest yet for the charity. Since it was established in 1987, the Trust has distributed grants totalling nearly £3million to a wide variety of deserving causes, with almost £500,000 awarded in 2006 alone.
