Enter Scruffts in Halifax!

Calling all crossbreed dog owners in Halifax. Have you ever wanted to take part in a dog competition but couldn’t because your dog didn’t have the right pedigree?  Well, this is your chance.

The RSPCA K9 Party in the Park will be hosting a heat of the Scruffts Family Crossbreed Dog of the Year competition on Sunday 9th September at Manor Heath, Halifax. Scruffts is the nation’s most prestigious crossbreed dog competition, and is run by the Kennel Club. The competition provides great fun for dog owners as well as the opportunity to experience the excitement of competing.
Rosettes are awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions in each class, and each dog that receives a 1st place is eligible to compete in the final at Discover Dogs, which will take place at the event on 11th November 2007 at Earl’s Court, London.

The Scruffts heat is just one of the many fascinating activities taking place at the RSPCA K9 Party in the Park. For further information about the show, please contact the RSPCA Animal Centre on 01422-365628.
