Wiccaweys Autumn Collie Funday & Dog Show
ON SUNDAY 16th September, Wiccaweys Rescued Border Collies & Working Sheepdogs are holding a Fun Dog Show & Collie Day Out at Welton Village near Daventry, Northants. The show will run from 10am to 5pm. This is an annual event which is always a great fun family day out, and helps to raise awareness of rescue dogs needing homes and the needs of the Border Collie as a breed. Our show is widely attended by visitors and other rescue organisations from various parts of the UK and helps us to raise invaluable funds.
There will be a total of 15 fun dog show classes with 6 winners selected from each class. We have a mini agility competition for Wiccaweys agility dogs, with prizes to 6th place. Finally we have the winners of each class coming together for Best In Show. Our dog show judges are Nick Mays and Sheena Stratton from OUR DOGS Newspaper.
We are grateful to OUR DOGS too for providing us with Goody Bags for each class winner in the dog show.
Full details of the show and directions can be found on our website. We have lots of Border Collie educational activities and demonstrations available for people see and try.
