Taser gun used on dog

ARMED POLICE had to stun a dog with a Taser gun after it allegedly turned on its owner in Lancashire. The dog, believed to be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, was said to have attacked the 45-year-old woman as she was out walking it in woods in Blackburn. A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: ‘The dog has now been taken to the police station for further inquiries to be made. It is possibly a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, which is a lawful breed to have.’
