Forget the tour de france –
come do the tour de Kennel Club!

Following on from several successful tours held already this year, the Kennel Club is continuing to open its doors to the public by offering the chance to see behind the scenes of its central London offices with a free guided tour. You are invited to see for yourself what the Kennel Club has to offer, and the effort it makes to improve the health and welfare of thousands of dogs in the UK.
From September onwards, the Kennel Club will be running a new season of tours at its headquarters at Clarges Street in the heart of London. The tours will provide visitors with the opportunity to see first hand how the Kennel Club is an unparalleled source of information, experience and advice on dog welfare, health, training and breeding. Kennel Club members, Len Anness and Jimmy Keizer will be hosting the tours, which are led by Sue Sampson, the Kennel Club's Roadshow Manager.

There will also be the chance to appreciate the Art Gallery, which provides a permanent display area for important elements of the Kennel Club’s fascinating collection of artwork and ephemera, ensuring its long-term survival, preservation and growth. Visitors attending these tours will have the opportunity to see the Art Gallery’s forthcoming exhibition ‘British & Irish Vulnerable Breeds: An Exhibition of Art Portraying our Rarer Breeds of Dog’, which will feature a total of 24 British and Irish breeds.

Morning tours will commence at 11am and visitors are invited to arrive at Clarges Street from 10.30am onwards when refreshments will be served. We are also running a selection of afternoon tours, which will commence at 2.30pm, and visitors are invited to arrive from 2pm onwards. There is no charge to attend these tours.
