It’s a 'Brad' day at Clonmel's International!

Apart from being the host town to the first show of the Munster Circuit, Clonmel is also the home of Bulmer’s cider one of the most popular beverages in recent times in Ireland. We are all familiar with the need for a certain amount of sunshine to make sure that the apples are just right for harvesting for this drink.
One would think that Clonmel of all places might have escaped the current torrential downpours and general bad weather that we have been experiencing but sadly the organising committee led by Margaret O'Gorman had first hand experience of the dire conditions which have blighted the country over the last couple of weeks. Amazingly they overcame all difficulties with the ground conditions and the high level of rainfall which caused major disruptions for the club to run an excellent show with a 4:45 finish which must nearly be a record for an International show here in Ireland.
Igor Selimovic from Croatia, well known FCI all rounder and Boxer enthusiast made the major decisions at the event. Taking his 4th All Breed General Championship show Best in Show award under IKC rules was Alan Matthews' big winning Pembroke Welsh Corgi CH/ GB CH/ INT CH Whitepoint Dream Weaver for Craigycor. Igor selected 'Brad' who is a Crufts BOB winner, a UK Group winner and was top Corgi in the UK in 2006. He is Craigycor's second BIS winner at this level in 2008.
