The Nottingham Canine Hydrotherapy Centre at 332 Watnall Road, Hucknall, Nottingham recently held its Annual Christmas Raffle amongst its clients raising £231 which was donated on Sunday 14th December to Ward E38 - the Children's Oncology Ward - at Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre.

All of the dogs who visit the centre are referred by vets from all over the Midlands, but especially including the local veterinary centres in Hucknall and Bulwell, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Each year The Nottingham Canine Hydrotherapy Centre hold Charity fundraising events, and since opening in 2001 have raised almost £20,000 for various Charities, either with a Sponsored Dog Swim held in the summer or with its Annual Christmas Raffle.

‘We would like to thank our clients who give so generously, and also wish the Children on Ward E38 a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy 2009!’ said a representative from the Hydrotherapy Centre.
