Dog-lover donates £7m to charities

A dog-lover has left nearly all of her £7 million fortune to animal charities.

Retired pathologist Grace Smith, who lives in Moray, divided her estate among several charities, with a reported £3.5 million going to the Dogs Trust.

She is also said to have left tens of thousands of pounds for the care of her own dogs.
