Obituary - Mrs Rachel Beaver

Rachel Beaver passed away on the 24th December 2007. Along with her later husband, the late Richard Beaver, Rachel refounded the United Saint Bernard Club in 1980. They both worked relentlessly to ensure the club’s success and took an avid interest in the welfare of the breed.
Mr and Mrs Beaver were already well known in the St Bernard breed showing and breeding their Lindenhall champions, once producing five champions in one litter.

Rachel’s knowledge of the breed was second to none and with her husband Richard she wrote ‘All about the Saint Bernard, a top selling book now in its third edition.

It was Rachel’s wish for a private funeral, which has already taken place. Donations in Rachel’s memory can be made if desired to the ‘Saint Bernard Trust’ 13 Milton Place, Pittenweem, Anstruther, Fife KY10 2LR.
