Setter exhibition
set to please!

Former Kennel Club chairman Mr Peter James and Mrs Rita Bryden past President of the
Irish Setter Assoociation formally opened the Irish Setter exhibition
Last Monday the Kennel Club Art Gallery saw the opening of the Irish Setter exhibition hosted by the Kennel Club to coincide with the Irish Setter Association’s centenary year.
Officers of the association, members, artists, sculptors and those who had loaned memorabilia attended the opening which was performed by Mr Peter James, the former Kennel Club chairman and son of Mr & Mrs L C (Jimmy) James of the famous Wendover Irish Setters.
Also on hand to welcome everyone was past treasurer, acting secretary and president of the Irish Setter Association Mrs Rita Bryden whose late husband Mr Bill Bryden had been secretary of the association following in the footsteps of the great Mr W J (Bill) Rasbridge.
The exhibition runs until August 1st. and in July the association holds its centenary championship show in the new permanent building at the East of England A S showground at Peterborough.
