Sanctuary seeks help after fire


An animal sanctuary in Luton has been left devastated by a fire. Six dogs sadly lost their lives - Bruno (a boxer), Helga (a German Shepherd Collie cross), Spotty (a Jack Russell), Bodie (a Border Collie), Polly (a Staffordshire Bull Terrier) and Jake (a Rottweiler) in the blaze at the Alternative Santuary.

Geese, rabbits and chickens also died. Tamara Lloyd who runs the sanctuary narrowly escaped injury. Thirty six stables, the barn, the two caravans, were destroyed.
