New secretary and building for East of England

AT A meeting held last Tuesday at the East of England AS showground, the dog section committee invited Mrs Jill Broadberry to become the new secretary of the dog section championship show, following the sad death of her mother, and former secretary, Pearl Crocker.

Following the meeting the Executive Chairman, Andrew Mercer, gave a brief audio-visual presentation to trade stand representatives and the press. This was to promote the new 8 million permanent facilities which the Society unveiled last December.

The 16,000 square foot building will house future shows held by the East of England AS dog section.
