Michael thanks!

MICHAEL QUINNEY would like to send his thanks to everyone who sent birthday wishes, cards and the lovely gifts on the occasion of his special birthday.

He would also like to send his heartfelt support to Blackpool for their actions on the final day of the show, which almost certainly prevented what could have been a catastrophe. Like many others, Michael, who was scheduled to judge BIS later that day, was enjoying his lunch when the wind did its worst damage. He feels that the Blackpool committee acted in an exemplary manner, and that their decision to abandon the show, which must have taken months of hard work and planning, was surely the right one, and quite possibly saved many lives.
