Silent auction to help Danes

AS PART of its 125th Anniversary celebrations, The Great Dane Club is to have a silent auction in aid of Dane rescue.

The club has been very generously donated two limited addition porcelain Great Dane statues by the late Mrs. Fiona Cardwell. Also, Mrs. Christine Williams bequeathed several commemorative medallions, two hallmarked silver, which are reputed to have once been owned by the late Mr. Gordon Stewart. In addition, Diamond Dogs have very generously donated a Swarovski crystal collar. All these items are to be auctioned on the night of the dinner/dance and sealed bids are invited for them.

The sealed bids to be sent to secretary, Mrs. Marion Hipkin. Rose Cottage, Tilbury Road, Great Yeldham. Halstead. Essex CO9 4JG or 01787 237969. All proceeds from the auction will be shared equally between National Great Dane Rescue and The Great Dane Club Dane Aid account.

This promises to be a memorable weekend and The Great Dane Club will extend a warm welcome to all who attend.
