Obituary - Mrs Lilian Hawkins

It was with great sadness that I learnt of the death of Mrs Lilian Hawkins aged 86. Lil was President of NWTDS having been my vice chair for many years. Lil was known as a breeder of and exhibitor of Min Pin. Making up champion Ardenoak Parkinson, a dog she bought from Ernie Dawson. She travelled to the shows with her friend the late Mabel Dukes. They both worked very hard for NWTDS and Flint and Deeside Canine Society.

Lil became renowned for her skill of getting people to buy raffle tickets at the society shows and training classes She was generous with her advice and opinions, quick to praise commiserate and congratulate. She always enjoyed the shows and meeting the people and will be sadly missed.
