Just two days before Southern Counties, at which she had three dogs entered, Linda Barker, the top Poodle breeder and exhibitor and daughter of Southern Counties Vice-president Joyce Baker, gave birth to a daughter, Fenella.
Her parents, Joyce and Steve, who organise judges reception at the show, were delighted that she was well enough for proud father, Richard, to bring her and their new grand-daughter, a sister for four year old James, to the show on the Sunday.
