KC and Fosse Data strengthen ties
The Kennel Club’s relationship with Fosse Data has been strengthened after receiving its support to raise funds for the newly formed Kennel Club Educational Trust.
The Kennel Club Educational Trust was established with the aim of providing opportunities to educate the public about dogs and responsible dog ownership, and is currently in the process of completing the refurbishment of its educational facility at Stoneleigh Park.
Kathy Gorman, Managing Director of Fosse Data maintains a strong interest in education, given that she was formerly a teacher and also a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer. Kathy was inspired by the aims of the Educational Trust and has kindly offered her organisation’s support through the launch of its new business endeavour; a website called Paws by Fosse (www.pawsbyfosse.co.uk).
According to Kathy: “The website will be selling quality products of interest to dog owners, including exclusive ranges from America and elsewhere in the world. I am pleased to say that a percentage of all sales will be donated to the Kennel Club Educational Trust”.
Commenting on Fosse Data’s support, Rosemary Smart, a Trustee of the Kennel Club Education Trust and also Chief Executive of the Kennel Club, said: “The Educational Trust is an important educational asset and will benefit the public and the dogs and their owners in particular. It is so encouraging that its importance is being recognised by an organisation such as Fosse Data. We are very grateful to Kathy and her team.”.
The relationship between the Kennel Club and Fosse Data was forged in 1999 when the Kennel Club approached the company to produce materials for Crufts. This has continued over the years with the printing and distribution of Challenge Certificates and other award cards for Championship shows and the relationship will only grow as a result of the generous support Fosse Data is giving to the Kennel Club.
