Dog fouling: the cotswolds decide

Cotswold District Council is now consulting on a dog control order targeting owners who do not pick up after their dog has fouled. The consultation ends on 3 July and KC Dog, the Kennel Club’s responsible dog owners’ group, recommends that all dog owners respond before that date.
Caroline Kisko, the Kennel Club spokesperson, commented: “Dog fouling is a problem in some areas and we support the Council’s efforts to combat irresponsible dog ownership. A dog fouling control order is a sensible and measured way to deal with the issue, and we advise responsible dog walkers to write in with their comments.”
