Inter-Counties Police
Dog Trial celebrates
21 years
of success
The prestigious Inter-Counties Police Dog Trial, part of the All About Dogs event, celebrates 21 years as one of the very top service dog competitions in Europe.
Many of the country’s top working Police dogs will be competing once again this year on Sunday 11th May, at the show which takes place at the Brentwood Centre Showground, Doddinghurst Road, Brentwood, over the weekend of 10th and 11th May. The police dogs and their handlers will be put through a series of testing exercises which include obedience, agility, man-work. The Inter-Counties Police Dog Trial Manager, Les Theobald, has overseen and managed the trial for the full 21 years. A former Police Dog Sergeant with Essex Police, Les, who is a KC Championship Working Trial Judge, has a very impressive CV, which makes him the ideal person to manage this nationally recognised trial.
An impressive array of trophies will be presented on the day by The Rt. Hon. Lord Petre, the Lord Lieutenant of Essex.
