Five go to the Dogs

KC Dog, the Kennel Club’s dog owners’ group, has issued information on five further councils who are seeking the opinions of local residents on proposed dog control orders.

“Councils across the country are consulting on dog control orders, and we urge all responsible owners to get their responses in as soon as possible,” says Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club spokesperson. “Leicester, Gainsborough, Wychavon, East Northamptonshire and Blaby councils are currently consulting; Gainsborough Council is suggesting it will exclude dogs from several areas, whilst Blaby is thinking of banning dogs from all areas with sports pitches, which are found in most parks in the area. .”
