The Kennel Club – just a roadshow away

The Kennel Club Roadshow is making its journey to the Birmingham National Dog Show which is taking place from the 8th to 11th May at Bingley Hall, Staffordshire.

Visitors to the dog show will have the opportunity to learn more about the Kennel Club at its newly designed stand and will also benefit from additional features.

One such additional feature is the fact that the Health and Breeder Services department, (formerly know as the Health and Information department - see page 2) will be sending its manager Bill Lambert to the Kennel Club stand at Birmingham National and a number of other shows throughout the year including the Scottish Kennel Club and the Welsh Kennel Club shows.
The Canine Activities Education and Training team will also be represented at the Birmingham National and Scottish Kennel Club shows in May and the Welsh Kennel Club show in August. The training team organises seminars throughout the year in order to fulfil the Kennel Club’s objective ‘to promote in every way the general improvement of dogs and to encourage the development of all those concerned with dogs through education and training’.

Seminars are focused on education for all those interested in improving their understanding of their chosen discipline. Whether you are already judging, aiming to judge, involved in stewarding, exhibiting or interested in the various aspects of running Clubs/Societies there is a seminar that will fit your needs.

Accredited Trainers will be visiting the Kennel Club stand throughout the day at the shows to help answer your questions.
