Man attacked for his Rottweiler


A GANG of men attacked and injured a man in Norfolk when they tried to steal his Rottweiler dog.
Up to five men set upon the victim as he walked his dog in St Saviour's car park in Norwich, hitting him on the head with the dog's lead.

The man fought them off and tried to escape, but they surrounded him and stole cash from his wallet.

One attacker was about 40 years old, 5ft 8in tall with brown spiky hair. A second had long blonde hair. Norfolk Police said the first man was wearing a black hooded pullover jacket, black trousers and white Reebok trainers. The second had a blue denim jacket.

The victim of the attack, who was in his 30s, had minor injuries to his head and lip. The dog was unharmed in the incident which took place on Saturday May 3rd.

Detectives are checking CCTV images and appealing for anyone who saw the attack to contact them.
