Butcher’s Great North Dog Walk
Butcher’s Great North Dog Walk was first launched in 1990 and last year broke the world record for being the largest dog walk to ever be held, with 10,272 dogs! Now they are looking to you to help them smash that record by taking part in this year’s walk.
The walk promises to be a fun-filled day for all the family and a chance to enjoy the great outdoors! There will be a range of activities to keep everyone entertained and with a choice of four routes to walk with different terrains, there’s no reason why everybody can’t take part! Dogs and people alike, young and old, even buggies and wheelchairs can be brought.
Make this Father’s Day a day to remember by taking part in the world’s largest dog walk and enjoy some of the Country’s most stunning landscape, with beautiful coastal pathways and stunning sea views!
Alison Cockcroft is the Brand Manager at Butcher’s and has great expectations for the event: “To many, being ‘as fit as a butcher’s dog’ is just a turn of phrase, but this is at the heart of everything we do. The Butcher’s brand is about feeding our best friends the very best! Natural and healthy food helps make for a happy dog so we strongly support the Butcher’s Great North Dog Walk, as it promotes wellbeing and quality time between families and their dogs. It is a great fun day out for people of all ages.”
Registration is at 9am with the walk starting at 10am. For more information or to fill out a registration form visit www.cooksondogwalk.co.uk. You can also register on the day.
