Award for Eileen at Discover Dogs
A special presentation was made to Eileen Ayling at Discover Dogs, as she became a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor in Companion Dog Training and Working Gundog Training.
The presentation saw Eileen become only the third person in the country to become accredited for Working Gundog Training.
The Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for Instructors in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour, also known as the KCAI Scheme, is a membership scheme for those who share a passion for dogs and their training, and those that are enthusiastic to help others live in harmony with their dogs.
Every member is recognised for their practical involvement within specific activities such as Companion Dog Training, Behavioural Training, Obedience and Agility amongst others. They are also valued for their overall knowledge of dogs and the canine world.
Members of the scheme can work towards accreditation, which is the ultimate recognition of knowledge and experience in their chosen activity.
Eileen has been instructing for 30 years and has her own business. Her instructing activities include the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme, one to one coaching sessions, competitive training for the Gundog Working Test and Field Trials and dealing with canine behavioural problems.
