BUBA move sees entries rise!

BRITISH UTILITY Breeds Association’s move back to its old venue at Stafford Showground has seen a marked rise in its entries at next weekend’s show.

In a year which has seen many shows record a drop in entries, BUBA’s details show a rise of 52 dogs on last year’s figures, with an entry of 1,841 dogs making 2,181 entries.

Secretary Meg Purnell-Carpenter has put the increase down to the show’s move back to Stafford the extra space, which will allow for more rings.

The higest entry is in shih tzus with 155 dogs, making 188 entries, followed by Tibetan terriers with 185 entries.

Japanese Spitz, Schanuzers, Canaan Dogs, German Spitz Mittel and Akita Inus will be second in the ring, watch Our Dogs for any last minute news.
