End of an era

Tragedy has struck one of the top winning Rottweiler kennels in Ireland following the sudden death of the top winning Rottweiler Ch/GB & Ir Ch Kanesbrook Black Denzil, owned by John and Marie Bond. He died on November 19. ‘Jovi’ was just short of his sixth birthday.

Ch/GB & Ir Ch Kanesbrook Black DenzilHe had taken three Best in Show awards at all breed events in Ireland this year as well as two Reserve awards, putting him in pole position for the Irish Kennel Club Dog of the Year award which is given to the exhibit with the most BIS wins at Championship level in the calendar year. He was fresh from topping the Rottweiler of the Year contest where he had amassed an impressive tally of Challenge Certificates and also had group successes at the highest level. Jovi’s successes this year, especially in Ireland, had been a great thrill for the team and he was handled to his big wins by Noel Beggs who had built up a rapport with him in the ring.

Our sincerest condolences to the Kanesbrook team and Noel.
