Ch Kestos Quickstep, the Norwegian Elkhound Crufts group winner, has died. She passed away at her retirement home with Diana and Peter Hudson. (Norderhove).

A multiple CC winner, shown by her breeder Barbara Stokes, she delighted all in the breed by winning the Hound Group at Crufts In 1999, followed by Best in Show at the BEC Ch Show the same year.

She was a wonderful brood bitch and mother of Ch, Am, Can Ch. Kestos Kriega and Ch. Kestos Kiera of Shundelko, both well known to regular exhibitors of the breed both here and abroad. Her grand-son is the top winning Norwegian elkhound Ch Ir Ch.Kestos I Spy at Graythor JW ShCM, also a Crufts group winner and holder of the Dog CC record in the breed.

Following her at Norderhove is her great granddaughter Kestos Night Sky at Norderhove, who at just 10 months old already has four Best Puppy Bitch and one Best Puppy in Breed awards under her belt.
