UK Leonberger wins Leonberg show

At the heart of Leonberg, Germany on the 28th September, hundreds of Leonbergers, their owners and admirers and supporters of the breed gathered for the event of the year, Leonberg Show.

Anyone who has Leonbergers or takes an interest in this breed will know how major this show event is. This year, and from an entry of 315 Leonbergers, Best in Show was awarded to Nigel and Anita Hollidays Ch and Ir Ch Debbollinby Vogue for Lionslord, a first for any UK Leonberger to have gained such a high merit here.

Delta is currently the UK’s top winning Leonberger, with a total of 8 CCs, a Group 2, 3 and 4 under her belt, an Irish title, and is currently being campaigned by Anita in Europe. Bred by Debbie Charwin of Debbollinby, Delta's parents are Debbollinby Highlander ShCM, the first Leonberger in the UK to gain a ShCM, and a CC winner at Crufts in 2004, and Debbollinby Vanity Fair.
