Enferno breaks records!
BECKY SWAINSTON’S Dogue de Bordeaux, Enferno Van De Paterhoek at Emberez, has recently become the breed’s biggest winning dog, following a strong of successes both here and abroad.
Enferno was bred by Mr Bart De Croo (Van De Paterhoek) in Belgium and is now owned in partnership with Bart and Nik Burnikell and Becky Swainston (Emberez) in the UK. His sire is Dutch, Belgian, Int and French Champion Emberez Apollo and Bintje Van De Paterhoek. Enferno is Dutch, International, Belgian, Hungarian, World and European Champion and only currently one point away from his French and German title.
This year Enferno has so far won best in show at the two most prestigious shows for the breed, the Dutch and French Club shows, he also took best in show at the same Dutch club show in 2007. Also in 2007 took Best In Show at both Breed club shows in the UK.
Enferno has also took best in show at the Belgian Club show this year and again came out of top from all the molossers exhibited at the special molosser club show in Hungary, followed by Best of Breed and Group 2 at the European dog show in Budapest (the highest win for a UK owned dog at this year’s European dog show). Enferno has so far won Best of Breed at every champ Show he's attended in the UK and group 4 at May's SKC, August's SKC and Birmingham national. He also gained Best of Breed at the All winners show last year and this year at the World dog show in Sweden took BOB and his half sister (both sired by Emberez Apollo) took Best female.
Other major wins include Enferno group and Best In Show at Gent International Show this year making Emberez the first British kennel ever to win a Best In show in Belgium and group and Best In Show at Clonmel International Show in Ireland in 2007 (the first time a Bordeaux has ever been placed in a group).
A history-making dog if ever there was one!
