Vet nurses are pet professionals

It's National Veterinary Nurse Week from 26th October to 1st November and vet nurses across the country are raising awareness of the important job they do in caring for the nation's pets. Pet owners will find it worthwhile to keep alert to the activities planned for their area.

The British Veterinary Nursing Association is co-ordinating the various activities going on around the country and has arranged two pet health check days. Participating owners can bring their dogs for a free nurse health check and will also receive a pack containing information on pet healthcare.

The events, sponsored by Hill's Pet Nutrition, run from 10am to 3pm in Roundhay Park in Leeds on 26th October and Kensington Gardens, which is used at the kind invitation of the Royal Parks, in London on 1st November.
