Cavalier success

Ch Cinderlace Cromwell JW
Following his recent success winning his 7th CC at UK Toydog last week, Tracey and Andy Vella’s Ch Cinderlace Cromwell JW (seen here with UK Toydog Group judge Michael Quinney),
continued his winning streak by taking home the DCC & BIS at last Saturday’s
Southern Cavalier Club Ch Show under judge Kirstie McMurray

THE SOUTHERN Cavalier Club Championship Show took place at Woking Leisure Centre last Saturday with 318 entries, and twenty not for competition.

Both judges were from Scotland with dogs judged by Mrs Kirstie McMurray and bitches by Mrs Wilma Sutherland - first time awarding CCs in the breed.

The results were as follows with another great win for Tracy and Andy Vella following hot on the heels of their success at UK Toy Dog the previous weekend.

DCC & BIS was Tracey and Andy Vella's blenheim, Champion Cinderlace Cromwell, and the RDCC Shealagh Waters' blenheim, Ch Lanola Santana of Maibee. Best Puppy Dog was Shealagh Waters' blenheim, Maibee Make Believe.

In bitches the CC went to Shealagh Waters' blenheim, Champion Maibee Gentle Touch, and the RBCC was Miss Lucy Koster's black and tan, Harana Reet Petite. Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy in Show was Maryann Hogan's Blenheim, Deeriem Carismatic for Stavonga.

Congratulations to all concerned. Cavalier exhibitors should note that the next Cavalier Club Championship Show will be held next Saturday (11th April) by Eastern Cavalier Club at the St Ivo Centre, St Ives, Cambridgeshire, where there will be a Cardiologist available for Heart Certificates. They are also holding an auction on the day, to raise money for the ongoing health fund so let’s hope everyone gives that cause great support. OUR DOGS have started the ball rolling by sending a donation.
