SCGB’s Schnauzer of the Year

THE SCHNAUZER Club of Great Britain held their annual Schnauzer of the Year event at the Novotel Hotel Long Eaton, Derby, on 14th March.

A full compliment of 64 dogs entered with only 9 absentees for judge known to many as columnist, writer and Kennel Club’s Chief Executive Vet, Steve Dean.

Generously sponsored by Royal Canin, all participants were able to take home plenty of goodies. This popular event was watched by over 90 spectators. Commentated so well, as always by Tony McDermott, Steve declared his eventual winner and overall Schnauzer of the Year to be the newly crowned Giant Schnauzer, Ch Bellgard Ghetto Stiletto at Philoma, owned by the partnership of Kevin and Sandie Cullen and Robert Joy, Dam of this year’s Crufts Best Puppy in Breed winner, Bellgard Esillia Nikia at Philoma.
