11-year-old Antonia and her Podengo, Arranbourne Bandeira for Jamchala,
made breed history at Leeds this year.

AT LEEDS Championship Show, eleven-year-old Antonia Leech and her Portuguese Podengo, Arranbourne Bandeira for Jamchala (Luis), made breed history.

The determined duo came first in the Young Kennel Club Stakes (Hound) class under Mrs Sue Virgo, which won them a place in the YKC Stakes Finals at Crufts 2010 - the first time ever that a Podengo has reached these Finals!

Earlier on in the day they also came first in the YKC Hound and Gundog Handling class (6 - 11 Years) under Mrs S. Metcalfe-Bilgin.
