KC/BVA/ISDS Eye Scheme
Following consultation with the relevant breed clubs, there will be changes to the KC/BVA/ISDS Eye Scheme, effective from 1st January 2010 as follows:
The following breeds and conditions are moving onto Schedule B: Gordon Setter – GPRA (generalised progressive retinal atrophy); Flat Coated Retriever – GPRA (generalised progressive retinal atrophy); German Spitz – MRD (multifocal retinal dysplasia); Finnish Lapphund – HC (hereditary cataract), PHPV (persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous), PPM (persistent pupillary memberane), MRD (multifocal retinal dysplasia)
Results of examinations for breeds with conditions on Schedule B of the Eye Scheme are not recorded on the Kennel Club database and are not published.
