Petition gains momentum

THE KENNEL Club's Fit For Function petition has already amassed almost 1,000 signatures from dog lovers, breeders and owners from all over the UK.

The petition aims to gather as much support for the principles behind the Accredited Breeder Scheme, which was launched in 2004, as possible. Those who sign the petition are not required to join the ABS, as this is entirely voluntary, but every signature on the petition will help to improve the health and welfare of dogs in the UK and eventually put puppy farmers out of business.
