The 75 year rule

IT HAS been suggested that a compromise on the discriminatory '75 year rule' which forbids judges awarding tickets in new breeds after the age of 75 might be that it should be abolished and that all judges should retire at age 80.

After 80 they would have to have to provide an annual doctor's health certificate confirming that they are mentally and physically fit to undertake judging appointments.
