Brian’s services recognised

At the presentation dinner for the Channel Islands Dog of The Year 2008 held last Saturday evening at the Ambassadeur Hotel in Jersey, the current President of the Kennel Club of Jersey, Steven Edwards, presented Honorary Life Membership to his predecessor Brian Cummings.

The citation reads: ‘In recognition for his services to the club as President from 2000 to 2008 during which time the club became incorporated as the Kennel Club of Jersey
and under whose Presidency saw the inroduction of championship shows and fostered even greater links with the Kennel Club in London, the Kennel Club of Jersey
has granted Honorary Life Membership to Mr BC Cummings.’
