KC doors open



New KC Building at Stoneleigh

Dog owners are invited to bring their canine companions and other loved ones along to the official opening of the new Kennel Club Building, where HRH Prince Michael of Kent will be formally opening the building between 11am and 2pm.

This new facility has been purpose built, with funds provided by the Kennel Club Educational Trust, and will be a centre of educational excellence for dogs and their owners. Dog lovers are invited to come along to see the great facilities offered by the Kennel Club Building and some of the events it will hold.

A packed programme of fun will be taking place during the day. This will include displays to show children how to stay safe and sound around dogs, and training exhibitions from the different levels of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme, the largest dog training programme in the UK. There will also be Heelwork to Music, Flyball and the chance to see dogs having fun in the ‘Tunnel of Temptation’! Experts and Kennel Club staff will also be available.
