Mia takes breed record
A new Norwegian Buhund breed record holder was crowned at Working and Pastoral Ch show last weekend, when Ch and Ir Ch Arnscroft Di Nahs Mite, owned by Christine Cross and bred and handled by Di Stirling, gained her 30th CC from breed specialist Mrs Margaret Deuchar.
Mia takes over from her father, the late Ch Olpenden D’Zimba, she recently took the bitch record from her G G Aunt Ch Squirreldene Bjanka, so keeping it in the family.
Mia, who is still only five, took her first CCs from puppy and was made up at 12 months of age. She has won numerous group placings and was in the last six for the Group at W&P. She is the daughter of Di’s Noorabli Di Na Mite of Arnscroft, who is the 2008 Top Pastoral Brood Bitch.
Her owner, Chris said “Di and I have been friends for over 30 years and this is the first Buhund I have ever owned, what an introduction to a new breed for me ! To think that Di’s first Buhund pups only came into the show ring seven years ago and her kennel has now won almost 70 CCs, I am so honoured to be part of that success.”
