Anne Moore (Sprogmore)

AFTER A short illness Anne passed away peacefully on 27th February 2009. Many will remember Anne who bred and made up Sh Ch Sprogmore Sachmo, the only chocolate roan dog to receive a UK Show Champion Title in the 20th Century.

We have Anne and 'Sachmo' to thank for promoting and bringing back the popularity of this colour with its own individual and wonderful character. Anne was a Championship show judge, her last appointment being Southern Counties Championship Show in 2008.

She was one of the three founder members of the Council of Docked Breeds. The Hon Secretary of the London Cocker Spaniel Society 1997 - 2002, and has also served on several dog club committees.

We have sadly lost another stalwart of the Cocker world and a personal loss to her three sons and daughter to whom we send our sincere condolences. To many others and also myself we have lost a dear friend
who will be deeply missed.
