Janette Thomas (Secretary), Jackie Stubbs (PRO), Brian Thomas (Treasurer) and,
on behalf of the unit, Sister Barbra Carlisle and Louise, staff nurse on the ward.

The All Ireland Shar Pei Association held a sponsored abseil down the front of the Europa hotel in Belfast in September 2008, in aid of the Northern Ireland Children's Cancer Unit Fund at the
Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast.

Many may remember Jackie Stubbs in a pink tutu! and his efforts, together the Club, raised £5,600.90. Trevor Beare also had his legs waxed on the day to help.

Club Members who took part were: Wayne Bright, Ian Mccaig, Eddie Bolton, Ciaran Donnelly, Sean Burns, Jackie Stubbs, Mandy Turner, S. White, Genevie Thomas, Liz Campbell and Janette Thomas.
