Huge entries for Amsterdam and Helsinki

Amsterdam 2008

As we to press we understand that the entry for the forthcoming winners’ dog show at the Rai centre in Amsterdam is approximately 5,000 dogs including the agility competitions. This is a great entry for this popular show which takes place this weekend (November 28th and 29th) on the outskirts of the city.

The panel of international judges will have helped draw the good entry (including a number from the UK) and Our Dogs will be one of a number of British trade stands attending the show. Others include Rabart Pro Choice, Cosy Pets and Fish4 Dogs. Well known accessory stand Transgroom from Belgium also returns to the show. All together there are more than 120 trade stands. We also hope to have copies of Frank Kane’s new Gundog book on sale at the show.

Entries are from 32 countries: the main entry is from the Netherlands, followed by Germany, Belgium and the UK. The Winners’ show is a truly international show, with other entries are from Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kuwait, Croatia, Luxembourg, Norway, Austria, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Czech, USA, Sweden and Switzerland.

The top ten entries for the show are: the Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Newfoundland, French Bulldog, English Bulldog, Bouvier, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Shih Tzu, Australian Shepherd and Flatcoated Retriever.
