Successful day at Cavalier Health Clinic

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club held another very successful Health Clinic on Saturday 26th September, at Bagworth, Leicestershire

The atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed, and presented a great opportunity for breeders and owners to get together and chat.

Sylvia Lymer and her team of voluntary “ladies” in the kitchen, Pam Lewis, Eleanor Mancey, Jane Price, Margaret Sparrow and Rebecca Wileman, provided service with a smile, selling refreshments, including a collection of delicious cakes and scones all home made and donated by many cavalier enthusiasts.

It was obvious from the packed hall that Eye Specialist Paul McPherson, Cardiologist David Fisher, Microchipper Annette Jones and Our Dogs photographer John Jackson, were in for a long day!
Heart testing was FREE to Club Members, eye testing and microchipping were both at reduced rates. In total 101 heart tests and 52 eye tests were carried out. Cardiologist David Fisher commented that he was extremely pleased to have a high number of older cavaliers to examine.

A huge thank you to everyone involved.
