SWKA Utility group

Mr Michael Quinney, breeder of countless Champions in many breeds, was the judge of the Utility group at SWKA. He is pictured here with his winner, the beautiful Tibetan Terrier Unohoo Mr Ted.

OUR DOGS would like to apologise to Michael for inaccuracies in our report on the show, and for omitting to print his critique which he sent following the show:

‘Thank you for the very warm welcome & the excellent hospitality. I do wish the society well for the future as it has had so many disasters in the last few years & still put on an excellent show. My thoughts are with Bob & Isobell Dyke at this time. Not a strong group. As well as those place I shortlisted the Standard Poodle & the Tibetan Spaniel.

‘G1 Unohoo Mr Ted, Tibetan Terrier, square & sound with a fabulous coat of correct texture, good nostrils & very good feet, had a very strong bite. Handler could try a little harder.

‘G2 Ch Navarre To The Extreme, black Min Poodle, put down to the last detail in presentation, quality coat, lovely expression, stylish mover, firm muscular body.

‘G3 Ch Miccosukees Finnish Line, Schnauzer, one who has often caught my eye, harsh jacket, good p/s colour, I liked his strong rear, well handled.

‘G4 Valindale What Ever, Keeshond, another exhibit beautifully presented & handled, sound eyecatcher, lovely spitzy expression, good muscular body.
