Obituary - May Singleton

May Singleton sadly passed away in hospital on 6th September, aged 63.

She was involved in Afghans in the 1970’s and started the Landhavi affix with Mike Lancashire in 1977. The kennel was very successful before being disbanded in 1983 and some of the famous dogs campaigned by them were Ch Moonswift Moonglade (co-owned by Mike and Jenny Arkill), Ch Khamseen Mannetass of Landhavi, Ch Barnesmore The Baron of Landhavi and Ch Severndene Marionette of Landhavi.

In her professional life she was an extremely talented graphic artist and produced artwork for many publications.

For a number of years she retained her involvement with Afghans by attending shows with her sister Jacquie, to whom we extend our deepest sympathy.
