At its meeting on 1st September 2009 the General Committee agreed to allocate Championship Status with effect from 2011 to the Hungarian Wire Haired Vizsla and the Finnish Lapphund at the following shows:

Finnish Lapphund

Full set of CC: Crufts, Birmingham Dog Show Society, Scottish Kennel Club (May), Welsh Kennel Club, National Working & Pastoral Breeds Dog Society, Finnish Lapphund Club of Great Britain (Status reserved pending satisfactory Field Officer Report). Single Challenge Certificates: Southern Counties CA, Richmond DSS
