Cumberland says thanks
Pauline Sidgwick, Assistant Secretary Cumberland Agricultural Society (Dog Section) writes:
‘Following the cancellation of the above show, due to the adverse weather conditions in July, the Committee would like to advise exhibitors that:- Entry fees have been returned to the Dog Section Treasurer, none of the prepaid entry fees have been banked. Owing to the high cost of postage, cheques will not be returned to exhibitors unless requested, enclosing SAE. These will be retained by the Treasurer for six months, after which time they will be shredded. Any exhibitor who paid by postal order, or cash, will be sent a cheque by the Agricultural Society in due course. We would like to thank the exhibitors for their patience and understanding.
‘Plans are going ahead for the show in 2010, and it is hope that we can rely on the support of dog show exhibitors to help keep this popular show going for many years to come.’
